Christmas Card Valentine
You'll need:
Old Christmas cards,red construction paper,scissors,markers or crayons,glue |
Directions:
1. Take old Christmas cards and cut out any shapes, pictures or words that interest you. Examples are "Jesus is born", stars, sheep, nativity, etc.
2. Draw a heart shape on the red paper.
3. Glue the card cut-outs around the heart shape. Be sure to leave an empty area in the center of the heart.
4. Write a Valentine message in the center of the heart.
This is a good way to share the love of Jesus's birth beyond the Christmas season.
NOTE: If you have a large group of children, you can request ahead of time that they bring their own cards with them, with parent's permission. This will give a much larger pool of pictures to use.
