Colors of Faith Beaded Necklaces
You'll need:
blue, green, yellow, red, purple, black and white beads. each child will need 2 sets of all these colors, thin ribbon to put the beads on, yellow and brown foam paper, scissors, glue, fine print muti-colored Sharpee pens, hole punch

Directions:
Step 1~ Cut out 1 circle for each child using yellow foam paper. The circle should be the same size as the inner circle in a roll of duct tape. Or approx. 2 1/2 inches across the middle of the circle.

Step 2~ Cut out 1 cross for each child using brown foam paper. The crosses should be around 2 inches tall. Just make sure you leave room to hole punch the top of the yellow circle.

Step 3~ Hole punch the top of the yellow circle.

Step 4~ Glue the cross onto the circle. Do not cover up the hole.

Step 5~ Cut ribbon long enough to make a necklace for each child that can easily be put on and taken off.

Step 6~ Thread your ribbon through the hole of the circle so that the circle is the center of the necklace.

Step 7~ On each side of the circle, have children put one blue, green, yellow, red, purple, black and white bead.

Step 8~ Tie the necklace in a good knot. You are done!

Teachers: On the back of the yellow circles, you can write an explanation of what each color means. It would probably be better to have this done before class. The Sharpee fine points work best for this.

Black - Sin
Purple - Hope
Red - Love
Yellow - Light
Green - Life
Blue - Baptism
