Necklace of Flowers
You'll need:
Pictures of Flowers from Magazines or Garden Catalogs,White Paper,Clear Adhesive Backed Plastic Paper,Yarn,Hole Punch,Scissors,Glue |
Directions:
Cut out a variety of flower pictures. Cut the adhesive backed paper into 3'' squares. You will need two for each necklace. Cut 3' long stings of yarn.
Let each child choose which flower they would like to use. Glue the flower to a piece of white paper and cut it out. Have the children peel of the paper from the back of an adhesive square. Place the flower in the center of the square. Peel off the paper from another square and place it over the first so that the flower in placed in the middle. Cut around the flower leaving clear plastic around the edge of the flower. Punch a hole at the top of the flower. Thread the yarn through the hole to make the necklace.
