|Painted Easter Egg Cookies
Sugar Cookie Dough (in a tube),powdered sugar, milk, food coloring, small paint brushes
Since it is hard to die Easter eggs with a Sunday School class, try this idea.
Use sugar cookie dough - the kind that comes in a tube - and slice enough cookies for your class. Before baking the cookies, squeeze the tops of the cookies so that they are egg shaped instead of round.
Make the "paint" by mixing powdered sugar with enough milk to make it thin enough to paint with a small brush. Add a few drops of food coloring to make several colors.
Have each child "paint" their Easter egg cookie to take home or for snack.
You could also cut cross shaped cookies for Easter Sunday. Add sprinkles for extra special treats.
