Plant God's Seed in Good Soil
You'll need:
clear plastic cups, good soil, lima beans, glue, pre-printed Bible verse cut out and ready to be glued on, water, saran wrap, rubber bands |

But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
Before the children come to class, have the Bible verse, Plant God's seed in good soil. ~~Luke 8:15~~ pre-printed and cut out for the children to glue on the front of the cups.
Step 1~ Fill the cup 1/3 of the way full with soil.
Step 2~ Press the lima bean into the middle of the soil.
Step 3~ Add approx. 3 tablespoons water.
Step 4~ Cover the top with saran wrap so children will not spill on the way home.
Step 5~ Keep saran wrap on by placing a rubber-band around it.
Step 6~ Poke SMALL holes in saran wrap.
Step 7~ After making sure the outside of the cup is dry and clean, glue on the Bible verse.
Tell the children to keep their plant in the sun.
