Sew A Treat
You'll need:
Colored Poster Board,Clear Stiff Plastic Sheet from a Pastry Box,Small Hard Candies,Hole Punch,Yarn,Clear Tape,Scissors |
Directions:
Cut matching hearts from the poster board and plastic. One set will be needed per child. Punch holes all the way around both hearts to form a sewing card. Tie a 2 foot length of yarn to the top of the heart.
Give each child a set of hearts and yarn. Show them how to lace the hearts together. Before you sew up the heart completely closed place a few pieces of hard candy in the pocket that has formed. Finish sewing the heart closed and use the excess yard to tie it closed.
