Praying Hands
You'll need:
construction paper,stickers,markers or crayons |
Directions:
I did this with my midweek class of 3-6 year olds. Have each child trace their hand on a sheet of construction paper. Cut out the hands, and ask the kids for the names of 5 people they will pray for that week. (Common answers are Mommy, Daddy, brother, sister, etc.) After one name has been written on each finger, let the kids decorate with stickers, markers, etc. Encourage the kids to show this to their families, so that mom or dad can help the child remember to pray for someone during their bedtime prayers.
